Some companies are producing minerals from all kinds of different sources, dry salt lake beds, fertilizer mines, mountain rivers, brown coal deposits etc.

Some of the "mineral salts" sold are the main component of "Sheetrock"?

Some are even adding "Inorganic" material to supplement their product because it is lacking in minerals or they want to "pump them up" for marketing purposes.

Others promote "Chelated Minerals" that use a chemical process of bonding an amino acid to a mineral, to enable the body to better absorb an "Inorganic" mineral?

Another chelating method is to take the oxide of an element (e.g. The oxide of iron is rust!) and put it in a stainless steel container and use hydrochloric acid to break it down. They evaporate the acid and the remaining residue is considered to be chelated? (Better to put the rust into the soil and grow plants in it and then eat the plants to get the iron!)

Do it the way nature intended. Get your minerals from plants, with NOTHING added.
